But I am learning that my servant attitude is good, a gift from God. What is important is that I serve out of a place of adoration and intimacy with God. Therein lies the key. As Nina so beautifully communicated tonight, it wasn't the serving that was wrong (as you also stated), but it was her state of worry and distraction. I have spent much time at the feet of jesus myself, with a mind racing and focused on other things. I fully embrace my Martha gifting, but I truly desire a heart like Mary's!BARBIEhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02537827307867912139noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7781275929147057243.post-82299563998717804702011-06-23T19:57:17.770-07:002011-06-23T19:57:17.770-07:00There is a lot of swirl about Mary and how she is ...There is a lot of swirl about Mary and how she is what we should all become. Martha seems to be looked at as second class..or at best...not fully given over to a Mary lifestyle, which is unfortunate. I understand the absolute necessity to live out from the first commandment but God created Martha's too.Greghttp://m1p.orgnoreply@blogger.com
